Join employers and apprentices from the Northwest Carpenter’s Institute to learn about careers in this fast-growing and highly skilled building trade
SEH America—This high tech manufacturer makes the wafers that go into computers, ventilators, automotive, satellites, cell phones and more! What is it like to work at SEH? What is the environment? What are the jobs? Hear directly from SEH employees who graduated from high school just one or two years ago and have been working there ever since. Find out why jobs in manufacturing can be interesting for recent high school grads and can lead to opportunities!
Join the Independent Technicians Automotive Committee to hear from 4 individuals who have participated in their apprenticeship program and now have careers in the field. According to a TechForce Foundation study, we will need 76,000 technicians to address this shortage. With so many career paths in healthcare, we had to make this session bigger! Join representatives from Seattle Children’s Hopital, Sea-Mar Community Health Centers, HealthPoint Community Health Clinic, and Swedish Medical Center for TWO sessions (Session 1: 3:30 PM; Session 2: 4:15 PM), organized by the Healthcare Industry Leadership Table, focused on the many pathways towards a healthcare career in Washington.

He also works in Workforce Planning and Development for the Highline School District Councilmember Roach is a former teacher and Special Education instructor in the Pasco school district. She is one of the first Muslim American women elected to office in Washington State.
